About Our Community
As you approach our community you are immersed in the beauty and serenity that only Mother Nature can provide. At first you don't see the community itself – your eyes are fixed on the beautiful blue sky overhead, people strolling on walking paths and countless, thick, green trees. Here and there you catch a view of people, some sitting on a patio, laughing and smiling. You glimpse a rabbit hopping by on the lush, green grass and you take notice of a couple of squirrels collecting food while you enjoy the soft, pretty sounds of birds whistling. These are just some of the common things seen and heard each day on the 38-acre campus of The Village of Victory Lakes – a retirement community located on a picturesque setting in Lindenhurst, Illinois.

Stepping into The Village at Victory Lakes you are embraced by the hospitality and joy emanating from associates and stunned by the number of activities unfolding before your eyes. You observe about a dozen residents enjoying coffee and freshly baked pastries in the country store. Ahead you overhear a gentleman at the bank sharing with the teller that he's withdrawing some money to spend on a weekend fishing getaway in the Upper Peninsula with his son and three grandsons. On your right, the Great Room seems more like a party room, with residents involved in card games, television programs and lively discussion. As you continue moving forward you can't help but notice three women getting their hair styled in the beauty shop, while chatting up a storm. You notice a couple of residents designing things in the arts and crafts room and then to your right several other residents are sending email and surfing the Internet in the computer center.

And that's what's happening on just one level of the 30,000 square foot Village Center.
